about katy park
A church family committed to discipleship, service, and sharing Jesus.
Our Story
Katy Park Baptist Church began with a small group of believers who desired to build a church committed to serious discipleship and service to others. What started as New Covenant Fellowship in 1985 grew into Katy Park Baptist Church, a congregation rooted in Sedalia and committed to helping people know Christ, grow in faith, and serve others.
The Miracle of Salvation
The Miracle of Salvation
We believe the good news of Jesus Christ changes lives. Through worship, Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service, we want people to know the grace of God, grow as disciples, and share the hope of Jesus with others.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and the foundation for our faith, worship, teaching, and daily life.
What We Believe
Jesus Christ
We believe salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone through His death, burial, and resurrection.
What We Believe
The Church
We believe the church is called to worship God, make disciples, serve others, and share the Gospel.
Pastor's Words
the church
At Katy Park Baptist Church, our desire is to help people know Jesus Christ, grow in God’s Word, and find a church family where they can belong. Whether you are new to church, returning after time away, or looking for a place to serve, we would love to welcome you.
We believe the Gospel changes lives, Scripture gives direction, and Christian fellowship strengthens us as we follow Christ together. Our prayer is that you will find Katy Park to be a place of worship, encouragement, truth, and grace.
